Approximately 300 tap dancers will participate in different age categories in this year's edition of the Swiss Tap Dance Championship. The will compete in the following categories: Solo, Duo, Trio, Small Group, Formation, Vintage Routine, Cutting Contest und Open Cup. An international jury will rate the performances and decide who will be qualified for the next World Championship in Prague (CZ).

LOCATION

2024 the championship will be held the third time (after 2021 and 2023) on a high-level in the AXA Arena in Winterthur. For the fourth time the event is organized by SwissTap in partnership with the school Dancestudio Borak.

Costs

Every person participating needs a licence of CHF 40.- in order to be allowed to compete.
Every person participating needs to pay per Swiss Championship a starting fee of CHF 20.-, no matter of the amount of categories he/she is competing in.
These contributions help to finance the Swiss Championships.

SwissTap members, children and participants of the Open Cup don't have to pay the licence.
